This week鈥檚 #buildingdoodle sketch is by Chris Robinson, partner at Aldington Craig + Collinge.

Robinson says: 鈥淭he client, a developer, stated a desire to commission a bold, new residential building in a 鈥榲ery conservative鈥� conservation area. Initially rejected by the planning committee of London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea as too contemporary, the application was successfully overturned on appeal and is now built. The building has been shortlisted for a Civic Trust Award with a decision on the outcome imminent.鈥�
