This week鈥檚 #buildingdoodle sketch is by Scott Boote, an associate at Webb Yates Engineers, and shows details of some design concepts for a private villa. Boote says: 鈥淚 drew this sketch to communicate our proposals for the main feature roof structure to both the architect and the client.
鈥淭hey really liked the scissor truss version so we鈥檙e now developing this with a variable geometry using parametric design software. The geometry of each truss will be different from its neighbour, giving a really dynamic feeling to the space and accentuating the views.鈥�
