This week鈥檚 #buildingdoodle sketch is by Mike Oades, director with Atomik Architecture. The storyboard was for a recent TEDx conference talk the firm did in Kazakhstan. The theme of the day was 鈥楬ow big is big鈥�. Mike says: 鈥淭he focus of our talk was the city of Astana. We posed the question, 鈥業s Astana a postcard experience, or a city for living in?鈥� I illustrated the talk with case studies from Germany, Oman and the work of a new generation of emerging Kazakh designers.鈥�
