Eurobond’s composite panel system has been used on an £11m “Lifestyle” building at Stoke-on-Trent college’s Cauldon Campus
The external envelope of the facility, which contains four hair salons and a range of beauty facilities, was made with Europanel and finished in Corus Colorcoat Prisma white. Eurobond says its system saved time at the college because it reduced the need for traditional wet trades, has “built in” passive fire resistance, and is designed to be integrated with glazing, doors and louvre components. Modular flexibility in 5mm increments between 300mm and 1,200mm provides greater freedom for architectural expression. The panels also provide wooden rainscreen facade. The building achieved a BREEAM “excellent” rating.
