Stannah has developed a structure-supported lift, designed specifically for timber-frame buildings, for which traditional lift structures are too rigid.
Stannah says this lift鈥檚 increased flexibility means it will not be unduly stressed by a building鈥檚 movement.
The landing entrance frames are fixed to the inside face of the timber shaft so the building can move independently of the lift structure, which prevents distortion.
