The latest range of Whirlpool baths from Hansgrohe's Pharo brand is set at a medium price range. The 200 series is made from acrylic and comes in sizes suited to UK bathrooms such as 170 cm length and 70 cm width. There are seven different models in the range and each bath is packaged as standard with a removable bath panel for easy installation and maintenance. Whirlpool options range from an air-jet system, to a combination system combining air and water jets.

Opus Technologies is cutting the costs of home entertainment technology with the launch of two new products this month: Octopus Home Cabling and Octopus Multi-Room Entertainment system. The home cabling equipment, including room access points for a three-bedroom home, costs less than £300 retail price, before volume/trade discounts. A typical multi-room entertainment system retails at less than £1000. The Home Cabling system provides connections for telephone, broadband internet, FM/DAB radio, satellite/cable and digital/terrestrial television in every room of the home. The multi-room entertainment system allows up to six hi-fi and video sources to be connected to a central Octopus master control unit. These sources can be used separately or simultaneously throughout the home, delivering music via flush mounted speakers and discreet wall control keypads.
