Tile maker Redland’s Rosemary clay tiles have been used to reroof a house in Perth, Western Australia
The British roofing specialist Steadfast Roofing shipped 46,000 of the tiles to the other side of the world specially for the project. The two-storey private home, which was built in 1911, was originally roofed using the Rosemary tile.
The original tiles were said to be still in excellent condition, but a decision had been taken early in the project to reroof the building.
