Marley Eternit has launched two high-performance fibre-cement cladding panels, Natura Pro and Pictura
Suitable for applications such as offices, commercial buildings, schools and hospitals, the panels use the Pro coating, a matt surface based on a hardened varnish and applied by a process using UV light. This coating provides protection against various types of staining, including graffiti.
The difference between Natura Pro and Pictura is down to the amount of pigments applied during the coating process – Natura Pro has a tactile, smooth and semi-translucent surface, which allows the fibre cement to show through, whereas Pictura has a solid finish. The matt surface and UV-hardened top layer of both panels offers good protection against mechanical damage during construction.
