Yorkshire water鈥檚 asset unit delivery unit entered by Turner & Townsend

If the Treasury wants an example of how to deliver infrastructure projects efficiently it needs look no further than at the collaboration between Turner & Townsend and Yorkshire Water. The two firms are the brains behind Yorkshire Water鈥檚 Asset Delivery Unit, which over the past 15 years has delivered 拢75.9m of capital efficiencies. The unit brings together 550 people from 12 organisations, but the firms involved say the ethos is for workers to 鈥榣eave their company badges at the door鈥�. The judges were impressed with the 鈥渟heer breadth and scale鈥� of the collaboration and said the firms had demonstrated a close relationship 鈥渨ith the longer term objectives from the supply chain鈥�.
