You say that quantity surveyors are in demand in France 鈥渂ecause no company offers this kind of service here鈥�. Although the article was correct in some respects 鈥� other than the unrealistic salary levels 鈥� a number of firms (including the one that I work for!) do in fact offer a QS as well as a project management service in Paris and elsewhere in France to a considerable selection of international clients. No doubt some, if not all of the other firms also present in France have replied expressing their indignation, but if not, I am sure that they will appreciate my reply on behalf of all of us.
