I was delighted to see your article (14 June, page 36).

The Chartered Institution of ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV Services Engineers (CIBSE) has launched a freely accessible web resource to help industry bodies and professionals share knowledge and discuss the increasingly important and widely-discussed subject of building information modelling (BIM).

BIMTalk is intended to be a non-partisan accessible resource which signposts users towards existing sources and resources, notably practical content such as case studies. It is an open initiative and is supported by The ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV Services Research and Information Association and the Landscape Institute along with contributors such as Arup, Andekan, Balfour Beatty and Hoare Lea.

We would welcome contributions from the whole industry to inform this initiative further.
