There is massive demand for good project managers, irrespective of which contract form is being used. Among other things, they need knowledge and skills in contract management, risk management and change management. They also need a talent for 鈥渃ommunication鈥 鈥 the most important aspect of good project management. Communications 鈥渆ngulf鈥 all projects 鈥 this is a good thing.

The key is the management of this information, and this is why good processes (such as the NEC) and good systems are essential.
