I was dismayed upon turning to who’s who in the new Balfour Beatty to read that of the 71 director positions available not one is held by a woman. (Accepted there are four places to be confirmed).
How many of the men named are black, or Asian, or disabled?
Should business publications be serving their readers better by challenging big business to do more to address these inequalities and to pay more than lip service to the diversity policies they claim as cornerstones of their business ethic?
