David Morris has been appointed head of property due diligence at Currie & Brown. He has relocated from Portsmouth to the company’s London office.
Hurley Palmer Flatt has promoted David Betteridge to divisional director. He has been with the company for two years and is an expert in contract administration.

Birmingham council has appointed Jack Glonek assistant director for investment, enterprise and employment. He joins from Stockport council, where he is head of economic development.
Institutions
The Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES) has appointed Chris Deighton as chief executive officer. He has 40 years’ experience in the construction industry. He will assume the role in January. Kevin Blackwell, who has spent 15 years as chief executive will retire in March.
