Bennetts Associates went home a double winner as construction鈥檚 most eco-friendly practitioners were honoured at 好色先生TV鈥檚 Sustainability Awards

鈥楥ollaboration is the key to delivering sustainable projects.鈥� That was the message from the winner of the Sustainable Leadership category at last week鈥檚 好色先生TV Sustainability Awards.

Speaking in front of over 250 guests, Rab Bennetts, founding partner of architect Bennetts Associates, said: 鈥淲hen we set up practice in 1987, we believed in collaboration as the only way to go places. You can鈥檛 do sustainability alone鈥�.

It was a double night of celebration for the architect as Bennetts Associates also won the Sustainability Project of the Year award for developments over 拢2m with the Elizabeth II Court building in Winchester.

Byrne Bros (Formwork) picked up the award for Sustainable Contractor of the Year and Gentoo Construction won Sustainable Housebuilder of the Year, while Atelier Ten bagged the Sustainable Consultant gong. RuralZED鈥檚 houses in Northamptonshire won the Sustainable Project award for schemes under 拢2m.
