There is always a voyeuristic fascination with how architects design their own homes and workplaces – and when the architect in question is one of the world’s largest practices designing its new office, interest is piqued all the more. When the international multidisciplinary practice Gensler was founded in the US in 1965, it initially specialised in corporate fit-outs and office interiors. While the firm’s portfolio has now expanded significantly, offices remain a core part of its output in the UK and abroad.
