United House will continue as a stand-alone developer

United House鈥檚 contracting business has reached a deal to merge with Bullock Construction, creating a 拢300m combined contracting business.

The combined firm will trade as United Living Group Limited, with the deal expected to complete in April 2015.

Bullock鈥檚 geographical reach covers the North, Midlands, Wales and the East while United House鈥檚 contracting business focuses mainly on London.

The remaining part of the former United House Group, United House Developments, will remain independent and will focus on major mixed-use regeneration schemes and 鈥渘iche speculative residential development鈥.

United House Developments has a 拢1bn pipeline of 2,000 homes across 12 schemes.

In a statement United House Developments said it will continue to work with United House Living on 鈥渆xisting projects鈥.

Rick de Blaby and Jeffrey Adams continue as chief executive and chairman respectively of United House Developments.

Former United House group director Paul Nicholls will also join the United House Developments board.

Adams said: 鈥淭he main focus for United House Developments will now be on significant growth to capitalise on the demand for new homes in the capital.鈥
