Turner & Townsend is likely to grow 15% this financial year, the consultant鈥檚 UK managing director Steve McGuckin has told delegates at the Mipim
The firm posted bumper financial results last financial year to 30 April 2012, with revenue up 20% to 拢244.3m and pre-tax profit up 46% to 拢23m.
Speaking at a T&T briefing on the commercial sector, McGuckin also spoke about the problem-hit Edinburgh tram project publicly for the first time.
Edinburgh City Council brought in T&T to programme manage the scheme in August 2011 after a contractual dispute led the council to admit it was running 拢200m over budget.
McGuckin said T&T has 鈥渉elped the city of Edinburgh re-align the project and it is currently being delivered to plan鈥.
T&T鈥檚 project manager on London鈥檚 Shard, Robert Deatker, also told delegates Western Europe鈥檚 tallest skyscraper has a 鈥100 year design life鈥.
