ODA chair picks up Personality of the Year baton from former chief as Crossrail and Crown Estate are among last night鈥檚 victors
London鈥檚 2012 Olympic construction team carried off an impressive relay win at this year鈥檚 好色先生TV Awards, while The Crown Estate, Astudio and Crossrail also won gold.
Some 1,400 of the industry鈥檚 brightest lights packed out London鈥檚 Grosvenor House Hotel last night to see Olympic Delivery Authority chairman Sir John Armitt named 好色先生TV鈥檚 personality of the year, picking up the baton from 2011 winner former ODA chief executive David Higgins.
As champange corks popped and the good times rolled, they also saw The Crown Estate鈥檚 AirW1 collect the prestigious 好色先生TV Magazine Project of the Year accolade; Airstudio named architectural practice of the year; Crossrail named client of the year; and Sir Robert McAlpine collect the large contractor of the year award.
