Bottisham village college

Morgan Sindall has landed the contract for a near-拢17m upgrade to teaching and sporting facilities at Bottisham Village College in Cambridge.

The 拢16.7m project for Cambridgeshire County Council and Anglian Learning Trust will involve expanding the college鈥檚 current facilities, including a new teaching block featuring 22 new classrooms, plus an auditorium, reception area and dining hall.

The architect for the scheme is DLA Architecture.

Morgan Sindall will also remodel the original building, widening existing corridors and expanding the college鈥檚 car parking facilities and bus bays.

Bob Ensch, area director at Morgan Sindall, said: 鈥淏ottisham Village College plays a major role within the local community and we hope this project will prove to be a great addition to the area.

鈥淭he new teaching block and sport facility will enable students, teachers and our community to enjoy working in first-class surroundings for years to come.鈥
