Scheme is firm’s fourth major job this month
Mace has signed on the dotted line for a £100m-plus scheme to build a new office block in the City of London.
The job is the firm’s fourth major win of the year following deals to build a life sciences scheme in King’s Cross, an office scheme in Berkeley Square called Lansdown House and a mixed-use scheme for Landsec called Timber Square in which it has replaced Laing O’Rourke.
The latest deal is for a 12-storey complex at 100 Fetter Lane with the scheme also including a square at ground level and roof garden.
Designed by Fletcher Priest, the scheme was given the green light nearly 18 months ago. The White Swan pub which sits on the existing site is being relocated to another part of the plot.
Others working on the development for BauMont Real Estate Capital and YardNine include services engineer Waterman.
Work is scheduled to finish at the end of next year.
