A Mace and EC Harris joint venture has won a contract worth 拢72m to deliver infrastructure improvements in Qatar.

The five-year deal was awarded by Ashghal, Qatar鈥檚 public works authority.

The UK firms will project manage a range of schemes as part of the country鈥檚 wider infrastructure push before the Qatar 2022 World Cup and the works will form part of the Qatar National Vision 2030 plan.

The scope of work will include educational facilities; healthcare facilities; ports and waterfront development; tourism facilities; sports and assembly facilities; parks and recreational facilities.
