Group expands strategic initiatives team, which was set up to focus on programmes such as BSF and Express Lift
The Leadbitter Group has expanded its strategic initiatives team (SIT), which was set up to develop business opportunities in major public programmes.
The team was established a year ago to focus on schemes such as ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV Schools for the Future (BSF), the Express Lift framework and the Homes and Communities Agency partnership panel.
Phil Porter has been promoted to group strategic initiatives director, Darren Welch has become the team's manager for housing and Graham Lambert will focus on health and education as the group's manager for construction. Mike Haines has also joined the SIT as sector development manager.
Last year the team secured Leadbitter's inclusion on the new £4bn Partnership for Schools contractors' framework and won two BSF projects for the firm, in Kent.
