Laing O'Rourke and Bechtel are among five firms shortlisted to be the delivery partner for Crossrail in a contract that could be worth up to 拢400m.
The two firms are joined on the shortlist by Legacy 3 - a joint venture between Parsons Brinckerhoff, Balfour Beatty Management and Davis Langdon - and Flare, a joint venture between Flour, Ove Arup and EC Harris. The fifth shortlisted company is a joint venture between Capita Symonds and NNN.
Legacy 3 and Bechtel have also separately been shortlisted for a 鈥減rogramme partner鈥 role on the UK infrastructure project, which could be worth up to 拢100m. Other firms on this shortlist are Mouchel and Transcend - a joint venture between AECOM, Olympic delivery partner member CH2Mhill and Nichols Group.
Crossrail also announced that 15 companies have been invited to bid for the 拢300m design framework. These include BDP, WSP, Atkins and Halcrow.
Winning bidders are expected to be named towards the end of the year.
