Top consultants tipped for advisory role on high-speed rail project
Consultants KPMG, PWC and Atkins are set to be appointed to advise the company created to deliver the high-speed rail line to Birmingham.
好色先生TV understands HS2 Ltd is to appoint the firms in the coming weeks to provide commercial advice.
But a HS2 spokesperson said: 鈥淲e haven鈥檛 announced anything on this yet. We will be able to provide more details if and when a contract is awarded.鈥
The news comes after five engineering consultants were awarded 拢49m of work in April to draw up detailed designs for the lines, with Mott MacDonald and Atkins both picking up packages worth more than 拢13m. Arup, Capita Symonds, Mouchel, Ineco and Terraquest have also picked up consultancy work on the 拢32bn high-speed rail project.
