Architect鈥檚 first retail project for 25 years opens

Architect Grimshaw has completed its first retail-centric project in 25 years, after the opening of Highport Shopping Centre in Melbourne, Australia.

Grimshaw 鈥� best known for numerous transport and aviation projects 鈥� designed the 30,000 sq metre mall in the city鈥檚 south-west Maribyrnong suburb.

It is the practice鈥檚 first completed retail-centric project since the opening of its Sainsbury鈥檚 superstore in Camden, north London in 1988.
