Kew Gardens has appointed Graham Construction to deliver 拢50m of works at the world famous UNESCO World Heritage site.

The five-year development programme will see the Northern Ireland-based contractor deliver new build schemes, refurbish the historic Grade I and Grade II listed buildings, as well as the repair and replacement of M&E systems.

Key areas where the works will be delivered include The Herbarium, Palm and Water Lily Houses, Pavilion, Arboretum Nursey, and the Family Landscape Area.

The firm will also repair the roof at Kew鈥檚 sister estate the grade I listed mansion Wakehurst in Sussex.

The wider team on the programme includes, Donal Insall Architects who are providing masterplanning, Ryder Architects as the lead architect and Mott MacDonald who are providing multi-discipline consultancy services.
