Contractor was also awarded the facilities management contract on the developments in Kent

Contractor Galliford Try has been awarded a 拢38m extra care housing contract by Kent council.

The firm will build seven schemes totalling around 240 homes across Kent. The schemes will also include communal facilities.

The firm will also provide facilities management services to the schemes over the next 25 years, worth an additional 拢36m.

Chief executive Greg Fitzgerald said he was 鈥渄elighted鈥 Galliford Try had been selected.
