The £20m North Glasgow College campus includes more than 400 doorsets from Leaderflush Shapland’s Extended Performance and Designer ranges
Meeting specific performance characteristics - up to 60 minutes’ fire resistance and sound reduction of up to 44dB - the doorsets have the firm’s EnduraCor engineered core.
The durability and stability of the range make it especially suitable for education applications and in a recent independent test, it was shown to be a hundred times more durable than multilayered chipboard, according to Leaderflush Shapland. It can also help specifiers achieve a BREEAM credits as it is manufactured using sustainable materials.
Leaderflush Shapland doorsets are designed as complete engineered units to meet specific performance requirements. Fire-resistant doorsets are third-party certificated by the BWF-Certifire scheme and are supplied with appropriate smoke seals and intumescents to suit performance.
The Extended Performance range is available in a number of styles, finishes and colours to match doorsets.
