The team behind this code level 6 house explain the design and construction challenges they faced

The Nottingham Solar HOUSE (it stands for Home Optimising the Use of Solar Energy) has made its debut at Ecobuild this year.

It鈥檚 developed by the University of Nottingham鈥檚 Department of the Built Environment and construction materials giant Saint-Gobain. It鈥檚 a level six, Code for Sustainable Homes design that is versatile enough to work as a semi-detached house, a terrace or even apartments.
