Consultant will work on redevelopment of racecourse
EC Harris has won a role on the 拢45m redevelopment of Cheltenham Racecourse.
The Jockey Club has appointed the consultant to provide design and procurement management, contract management, handover and occupation management on the revamp scheme, which is expected to be complete in time for the Cheltenham Festival in March 2016.
The redevelopment will include a new grandstand, a redefined and re-routed Horse Walk from the Parade Ring to the Racecourse, adaptations and improvements to the Tented Village, improvements to visitor circulation and refurbishment of the Weighing Room and Paddock 好色先生TV.
The scheme is currently under consideration for planning consent.
