The four-year framework was awarded entirely to specialist contractors
A total of 21 contractors have won places on a £750m NHS modular building framework.
The framework, which lasts for four years and has been awarded entirely to specialists, was set up by the NHS because there was no national agreement that existed which specifically covered offsite construction.
It has 11 lots in total and is free of charge to the public sector clients who will use it.
All of the winners on the framework will carry out work as the principal contractor and will provide a wide range of services including feasibility studies, planning applications, full architectural design, enabling works, site works, landscaping and soft landings.
The lots include services for bespoke modular buildings, modular healthcare units, modular education units and modular kitchens.
