Cavity Trays has launched a cavity closer suitable for cavities up to 330mm wide.

Called WCA Maxi, the closer is triple-layered and includes a 50mm deep insulating foam core covered on three sides with a reflective foil bubble wrap and a finishing face of heavy duty petheleyne. The product is suitable for traditional and timber frame construction and can be built in with the wall or added later. It is fixed in position with wall ties or direct fixing through the outer edge. The fixing edges can move independently of the insulating core to accommodate differential movement between the inner and outer leaves of the wall.
