As the Hackitt consultation launches, ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV delves into some of the more technical aspects of the recommendations

The Hackitt report recommended that the inspection regime for higher risk residential buildings should incorporate three key gateways, a proposal that has made it into the consultation. The gateways align with the three significant phases of project delivery – at the planning stage, just before construction starts and handover. The building needs to pass through each gateway before progressing to the next stage.
