Managing director of St George division departs with immediate effect

Tony Carey has left Berkeley Group with immediate effect.

Carey was managing director of its St George division.

In a 50-word statement to the City this morning, the London housebuilder and regeneration specialist said: 鈥淭he Berkeley Group announces that Tony Carey has left the board of Berkeley with immediate effect.鈥�

Chairman Tony Pidgley said: 鈥淭he board of Berkeley wishes to thank Tony Carey for his significant contribution to the main board over the past 17 years.鈥�

There was no further explanation as to the exit.
