The masterplan includes a detailed first phase of 250 homes
PRP has been appointed as lead architect and masterplanner for a 2,600-home development which will form part of Ebbsfleet Garden City.
The Western Village (pictured above) in North Kent, which is being developed by JV partners Clarion Housing Group and Countryside, will be located in the Eastern Quarry section of Ebbsfleet and contribute to it becoming the largest garden city in the UK.
The masterplan includes a detailed first phase of 250 homes to be delivered as part of a hybrid planning application for Western Village.
In September a team led by Bradley Murphy Design won a competition to find a design for the landscaping of the garden city.
Ebbsfleet Development Corporation and NHS England selected the winning project, which was called HALO.
The design was a collaboration between Bradley Murphy Design, JTP, Peter Brett Associates and Sebastien Boyesen.
In total Ebbsfleet Garden City is set to create around 15,000 new homes, a major new commercial centre, improve public transport links and develop seven new city parks.
