Prysmian’s insulated cables were used for the fire system of a hospital in Northern Ireland

Prysmian’s FP Plus cables, with enhanced Insudite insulation, were specified for the fire system, installed in the New Acute Hospital in County Fermanagh, Northen Ireland.Since the £276m project began, approximately 100,000m of cabling has been installed by Dowds Electrical Contractors, connecting the fire alarm system and other safety systems such as smoke fire dampers throughout the building. FP Plus is approved for fire detection and fire alarm signal paths to BS58391:2002+A2: 2008, voice alarm systems to BS5839-8:2008 in enhanced application areas and emergency lighting systems to BS5266-1:2005.
