Job designed by Bond Bryan
Bam has been given the green light by Leeds city council for a £28.5m school in the city designed by architect Bond Bryan.
The three-storey building (pictured) for Benton Park school at Rawdon on the outskirts of the city will have space for 1,500 pupils.
Bam arrived on site last week and preliminary work is now underway. Bam Design and the firm’s engineering arm are carrying out structural and MEP work.
Also on the team is landscape architect ONE Environments and civils and drainage engineer Curtins.
Completion is expected in time for the start of the school year in 2021, with the existing school building being demolished and replaced by a football pitch.
