I was interested when glancing through the Corus promotional magazine attached to last month’s Construction Manager to read ‘Safety first approach pays off -- Steel construction is inherently safer etc, etc’
Alongside is a picture of the gable of a steel-framed building with a proprietary guard rail system prominently in view. This protection, unless I have missed something, has a huge gap between it and the horizontal platform, thus rendering it useless. So calm down Corus, keep your claims rational.
