Survey also finds that half of ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV4job subscribers applied for work using the jobs site
The majority of subscribers use Facebook to network for work, according to a recent survey conducted by ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV.
Asked if they use social networking sites to career search, the job site users admitted Facebook was their preferred site. The popular website beat its rivals with almost 80% of the votes followed by LinkedIn, with Twitter taking less than 10%.
The research also found that ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV4Job subscribers are torn when it comes to the question of working abroad – almost equally divided between the willingness to work abroad, not wanting to relocate and not really caring either way.
The survey concluded that the largest proportion of users on building4jobs are contractors and consultants and from these graduates seem to make up the bulk.
Finally, half of those surveyed said they have applied for a job on building4jobs, with 25% rating the service favourably. And over 90% of those surveyed would recommend the site to a friend.
