Apache Capital has set up a business specifically to develop traditional homes for families. We spoke to co-founder Richard Jackson about his plans
At the start of May rented housing developer Apache Capital Partners made public its plans 鈥 four years in the making 鈥 for a 拢1.6bn new business focused entirely on building communities of single houses for private rent.
The 3,000-home new venture, named Present Made and led by Apache鈥檚 co-founder Richard Jackson, is the latest to capitalise on the growing demand for suburban 鈥渂uild to rent鈥 developments, and, it would argue, will be one of the first to really think through what this new form of development means in placemaking terms.
